My understanding is this rifle was arsenal refinished in 1953. Not sure of original manufacture date most likely the 40’s. In excellent condition for a rifle this old. I’ve never fired this. Been sitting in the safe 30+ years. I never cleaned the cosmoline out of the barrel. Still has a factory tag on the barrel. Brass butt plate. I can send more pics.
