Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA
***I am not the original owner. Please read full description.
Video of it working without the battery cap on.
I have this Trijicon SRO that I’m gonna get rid of. When I got it, it was missing the battery connector. Took it to a reputable electronics fixing place to get a new one soldered in. The light will turn on.
Sometimes I have to press on the bottom to make it turn on. I called Trijicon about it and they said that most likely the cap isn’t tight enough. The specific representative I talked to said to use dielectric grease around the o-ring. It’s a common issue and I’m not the first to call about it. I did and it worked without worry for days. Took the cap off, back to the original issue. So I believe it’s just a battery cap tightness issue. New ones are $30 if you wanna go that route and try a new one. I’d recommend anyway and getting the special tightening tool.
I’ve seen non-working models of these go for $300, so I’m starting at $350. Will also consider trade for .308 ammo, AR-10 20+ round mags, .22lr rifle, 12 gauge pump action shotgun.
